Purple shawl
I have finally actually completed a project! This is a wavy shawl that is based off a pattern I found on Ravelry. The yarn is wool, very soft. I've found that crocheting during meetings at work is a good way to actually get finished with something...

And indeed you should feel accomplished! That shawl seems to have an interesting length/width ratio though?

Yes, I wanted it long enough to reach my wrists when draped over the arms, and I didn't have enough yarn to make it wider and still do that. As it is, it barely reaches the wrist joint.

Still, since I have hot flushes along the back, it's just what I need - I can wrap it around my head, or cover my front, or cover my arms, while not making the back too hot.

That looks lovely - it's a gorgeous blend of colours and suits you well.

Thanks! I fell in love with the yarn and bought all they had which was six skeins.
