Embarras de richesse

One is right out of the picture, because she wants a load of money that I don't have.

gnapp, whose lovely horse, Skutt, is in my user picture. I've ridden him for over a year now and I like him a great deal. I enjoy being with him and he seems to like me a lot - he comes up to me as soon as I come into his field, and we generally have lovely outdoor rides.
The second is a woman who used to ride Skutt. She's now got herself a Friesian mare, a real beauty with lovely gentle eyes and a somewhat nervous nature. I'm planning on giving her a try this Sunday, and I thought it'd be great to have Skutt one weekday per week and Lemkje, the Friesian, on Sundays.
Then a close and much loved friend tells me that she needs help. Her co-rider hasn't got a car and so finds it hard to get to the stables every week - it's been more like once a month, lately. And her horse is older than Skutt and Lemkje, has had a lot more schooling, and is a lovely horse who could teach me a lot. Only, I don't want to stop riding Skutt because I love him, and Gnapp wants him both Sunday and Saturday, and I want to ride another horse on weekends, and this friend needs help on weekdays.
Gah. Difficult.
Maybe we can make a deal where I help out with the chores on the day I ride Skutt and then I can ride the other horse on Sundays. Or something.
Still, it's pretty tickling for the ego to have so many people wanting me to ride their horses. I consider myself a mediocre rider at best, but maybe they see me differently...
