I appreciate the thoughts on the logo!

I chose the rainbow because I wanted something to refer back to me as a person. Since I'm bi, the rainbow feels like a good choice. I do agree that it's not a very medieval-type thing, though, and I finally did end up choosing a dark blue colour instead.

So far, I'm not running this business to make money and I'm not going to promote it much. I get my commission from friends and family - I've madea skirt and a wedding dress for [livejournal.com profile] gnapp, my own wedding dress, a dress for my mother to wear at her stepdaughter's wedding, things like that. Also I've helped [livejournal.com profile] jegra make the jacket she's wearing in her user picture. So while I do want a logo to use on invoices, on my web site, etc, I'm not working too hard on the "image" aspect of it - I just want something I feel comfortable with and that I feel represents me.

Again, thanks everyone for the input! The final result is .

Cool! I really like that font -- it's very clear and easy to read, *and* it's beautiful. Always a nice combination : )

I think that's a lot better :-)

One thing I had to learn, when I came out into the BDSM scene, is that my sexuality doesn't necessarily have to be part of every image that I promote. Sure; it's a core part of me and I tend to define myself in those terms, but that doesn't mean that anyone else actually cares or wants to know :-)

That's much better. The dark blue colour feels medieval and I like the subtle textured background. I'd leave a bit more space around the text but if you're going to use it as little as you say, there's not much point in faffing around with it.

Nice! It looks like it actually could be embroidered.

That looks great! I'm glad you've found something you like :)
