Health update

jennyaxeToday I went to the gynaecologist. The examination was as painful as I'd expected ("does it hurt here?" "YES!" "here? "YES!" "here?" "YES!"), but at least she didn't find any cysts or anything else that could be seen by ultrasound or felt during examination.
So I'm going to stop taking the oestrogen "add-back" that I've been taking to offset the side effects from the nafarelin/GnRH stuff. This'll mean more hot flashes, more cotton-mouth, more acne... but if it means less pain, I'm all for it.
I just wish I didn't have to hurt so much from the examination. But at least she gave me a refill prescription for the strong painkillers, so I guess I'll survive.
