I chose the rainbow because I wanted something to refer back to me as a person. Since I'm bi, the rainbow feels like a good choice. I do agree that it's not a very medieval-type thing, though, and I finally did end up choosing a dark blue colour instead.
So far, I'm not running this business to make money and I'm not going to promote it much. I get my commission from friends and family - I've madea skirt and a wedding dress for
gnapp, my own wedding dress, a dress for my mother to wear at her stepdaughter's wedding, things like that. Also I've helped
jegra make the jacket she's wearing in her user picture. So while I do want a logo to use on invoices, on my web site, etc, I'm not working too hard on the "image" aspect of it - I just want something I feel comfortable with and that I feel represents me.
