Ow! Apart from anything else, that must make sleeping rather awkward - and I hope for C's sake that you don't flail your arms around in your sleep! Glad to read that the operation was a success and hope that it's not hurting too much.
I have to sleep with the arm high, so I rest it on top of two pillows. I generally sleep on my right side anyway so it's not thar bad. I haven't hit Calle with it yet anyway!
