When we left the grocery store today, we passed by their bakery department and saw cake decorations for wedding cakes. Specifically, these decorations:
I'm not sure anything like that's available locally, but my friends John and Mark came up with a splendid home-made topper for their wedding, made from two Ken dolls dressed up to look like them (John in a wizard's cloak, Mark in a teensy Hawaiian shirt and hiking shorts).
Oh, they're lovely! One person I know online got married and managed to find a set of beautiful short haired dykes in suits, that was quite special, too.
I wanna play "stymie the wedding cake decorator"...no, no, I want the woman in the tuxedo and the man in the gown and the other man in a batman costume and OH MY GOD, THEY'RE ALL CAUCASIAN...:-D
I agree. Especially that such a thing is found in a normal wedding department of a normal grocery store. (Not that I would want a couple of any kind on my wedding cake, and I would definitely have the man-woman one, if any, but still.)
