Things that did not happen today:
I didn't have a cat standing on my chest when I woke up, purring and demanding attention
I didn't have a cat standing on the kitchen table going "mrrp?" whenever I went into the kitchen
I didn't have a cat walking around and across my keyboard while I was typing
When I looked at the warm spot on the floor in the hallway, there was no cat lying there
Things that did happen today:
I had a cat lying purring in my lap for most of the day
I spoke to two breeders and we're going to look at kittens.

Date: 2009-01-08 09:08 am (UTC)We're looking at a second Birma tomorrow, a bluetabby male that's about eight weeks old now, so we'd get him in a month. I don't want to bring in another female as Zeta and Pixel kept fighting over the leadership and I'd like for Zeta to not have to start doing that again. Also, Birmans are nice and cute and cuddly. There are pictures of this kitten at the breeder's web page (http://www.freewebs.com/korallensbirmor/kattungar.htm), at the bottom of the page.
The next time we get a cat it'll probably be a foundling of some sort. Partly because Birmans cost a lot (about 550 euro) and partly because it's a good thing to do.

Date: 2009-01-09 07:44 pm (UTC)Two of ours are getting very old now so I know it's not long before we have to go through losing them. I'm really dreading it, but I couldn't bear not to have cats.

Date: 2009-01-07 08:36 pm (UTC)This cat on this icon is the cat of my of my nieghbour who died in 2007. And she, the neigbour cried on my shoulder.
Later i cried and I made a memory sit for the cat that gave comfort to me and the neighbour.
