I've got a cold. I'm not at work. I'm at home, in my bed, reading thebratqueen's slash, and occasionally laughing out loud at the so wheedonesque quips and jokes.

A friend suggested whisky with hot water and sugar to help combatting the cold. I was about to demur as per usual that I can't take alcohol. Then I started counting.

I haven't had a painkiller since Tuesday, when I was out riding.

Three days now and I haven't had a pain killer. More, I haven't even thought about it.

Gosh wow.

I think it is, a bit. And I don't have to go to the stable today; Jegra's housemate's daughter will take care of the horses. She enjoys it and I'm very happy to not have to leave the house.
